Listing Real Estate Agent Interview And Questions, PART 2
Listing Real Estate Agent Interview And Questions, PART 2
How active is the real estate agent in the area and community? There are many reasons you like to make sure the agent is working full time and active in the area. To agents are well-known in the community for their real estate work and other community-based involvements like charity, community support. It would be helpful to know how many current listings in the area do they have? How many transactions they had with the past year or two?
Top real estate agents usually have several buyers waiting for the right house to come to the market. Hence, working with a top agent opens up the opportunity to sell your home to the right buyer. Also, busy agents have a system in place for marketing and staff to help with the process. Well-planed marketing is essential to get the most money in a reasonable time for your home. Yet, another reason you may choose to work with a top busy agent.

What is the listing agent's marketing strategy? You should make sure you understand the listing agents' marketing approach. In fact, top agents usually will prepare a presentation on their marketing plans and show you how they will help you get the top money for your home. Once your home is on the market, the first few weeks are vital since it'll get the most attention. Hence, the first few weeks of marketing should be intense. You want to know if, for reasons, you did not get enough offers within the first few weeks, what would be the plan going forward.

Is the home staging required for your home? You should ask the agent regarding the home staging. You would like to know if staging will be done for your home. If they have a strategy for home staging, if yes, how does it work? Home staging is varies depending on the neighbourhood and price point of the house.

The home staging and how much money to spend depends on the property and area. For some homes, professional home staging is crucial and can make a big difference in selling your property. This is the kind of information you need to know, and the agents should be familiar with the area and provide the best suggestion for the staging your home requires. Sellers typically pay for the home staging, and depending on the home staging needed; it can be expensive. Hence, it is best early on you learn the cost involved and its benefit.

With some professional help, your furniture can be used for staging; it may be necessary to remove some of the furniture and reorganize it. On the other hand, a vacant property may have to use a full professional staging. Finally, virtual staging provides a convenient staging at a reasonable price. I have hired some virtual staging companies, and I was pleasantly surprised by the work's quality and affordable price. Staging can be beneficial; however, the type of staging depends on the property and the area. Your top agent should be able to suggest the best strategy for your home.
